In 1980, Jackie Paul moved from Birmingham, England to Chicago. Following a successful career in the international fashion industry, Jackie transformed her passion for the decorative arts to include custom faux finishing, unique stenciling and murals into a full time business when she founded Bijak Designs of Bloomingdale, Illinois in 1994. Bijak Designs has built a solid reputation over the more than 10 years of service and is committed to excellence in every aspect of their work and client relationships. A passion for creating new finishes and their commitment to ongoing training enables them to guide their clients through the color and design process with ease. Bijak Designs has been featured in the Chicago Sun Times, Daily Herald and local press publications. Over the years they have shared their knowledge by teaching to thousands of students. They have donated their time and talents to work on the Ronald McDonald House in Loyola, Medinah Baptist Church, Schaumburg YMCA, S.A.L.I and other special events.
